Undergraduate Medical Education
As a major training hospital surrounded by the most populous and diverse
communities in the world, undergraduate internships and clerkships at
Kingsbrook provide medical students with intensive, hands-on training
working with a broad patient population. All courses allow students to
work closely with Residents and Attending Physicians, participating in
morning rounds and daily case presentations. They also have the opportunity
to participate in short-calls, clinical work, and floor rotations, all
while side-by-side with experienced physicians. Each course provides specialized
training in each field of medicine, providing crucial experience in both
medical practice and patient care.
