Medical Education
Located in the heart of Brooklyn, Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center has
the unique privilege to serve one of the most diverse, culturally-rich
communities in the world. As a result, our medical education program provides
the opportunity to practice medicine in a broad variety of specialties
for a general population unlike any other.
Undergraduate Medical Education
With
21 different clerkships and internships to choose from, qualified third- and fourth-year medical students have
the opportunity to join Attending Physicians and Residents in their morning
rounds, participate in case presentations, and receive one-on-one counseling
with our program advisors. Intensive training in a variety of medical
practices. Our clerkships include, but are not limited to:
- Anesthesiology
- Cardiology
- Emergency Medicine
- Family Medicine
- General Surgery
- Hematology
- Infectious Diseases
- Neurology
Residency Programs
Our residency programs allow our residents to work closely with Attending
Physicians to serve the many communities in and around Brooklyn. We offer
both one-year and three-year programs for different medical specialties,
including sub-specialties within the pharmacy field.
