Brooklyn, NY-- Kingsbrook's
Best Health School provides free education and early detection options for Central Brooklyn
residents all year round. On March 26-30 free asthma screenings will be
held for the entire week, from 11:00-2:00pm in the Respiratory (Department DMRI 5th Floor) on our main campus at
585 Schenectady Avenue between Winthrop Street & Rutland Road.
Asthma impacts a large part of the Central Brooklyn community and needs
a level of treatment and understanding that is critical for living a normal
healthy life. The American lung Association describes, asthma as a lifelong
disease that causes wheezing, breathlessness, chest tightness, and coughing.
It can limit a person's quality of life.
Make sure you are aware of all the signs of asthma by taking part in our
screening process.
For more information about this screening event, please call the Kingsbrook
Community Information Line at 718-604-5062.
