Rehabilitation Institute

The Rehabilitation Institute at Kingsbrook is one of the oldest and most respected on the East Coast. Our program provides comprehensive acute care for patients who have suffered from a variety of conditions and injuries that leave them impaired either cognitively and / or physically. Our staff of caring, compassionate, and highly qualified professionals is here to help patients regain strength and quality of life, and includes—in addition to physiatrists—nurses, physical therapists, occupational / recreation therapists, speech pathologists, audiologists, vocational counselors, dietitians, neuropsychologists, and social workers / case managers. We design treatment programs that are individually customized to the needs of our patients.
