Kingsbrook Hosts Asthma Screening Week March 26-30th

Brooklyn, NY-- Kingsbrook's Best Health School provides free education and early detection options for Central Brooklyn residents all year round. On March 26-30 free asthma screenings will be held for the entire week, from 11:00-2:00pm in the Respiratory (Department DMRI 5th Floor) on our main campus at 585 Schenectady Avenue between Winthrop Street & Rutland Road.

Asthma impacts a large part of the Central Brooklyn community and needs a level of treatment and understanding that is critical for living a normal healthy life. The American lung Association describes, asthma as a lifelong disease that causes wheezing, breathlessness, chest tightness, and coughing. It can limit a person's quality of life.

Make sure you are aware of all the signs of asthma by taking part in our screening process.
