Kingsbrook’s 911-designated Emergency Department responds to the most urgent needs of the community. The Fast-Track Emergency Room, integrated into the Emergency Department, treats minor injuries and uncomplicated problems, ensuring an even faster response to, and resolution of the individual’s presenting problem. The Emergency Department expertly handles medical, surgical, orthopedic, pediatric and adult emergencies, as well as urgent minor trauma with state-of-the-art medical equipment and a highly skilled staff. Additionally, Kingsbrook's ED has been designated as a Cardiac Arrest Center, using the most advanced techniques in cardiac resuscitation. It has also been designated as a stroke center. The newly expanded and modernized Emergency Department provides patients and their families comfortable areas for registration, triage, and waiting.
