Keeping the community informed of the health disparities most prevalent in the region is a key factor in our educational outreach. In an effort to spread the word about these issues by way of a health and wellness newsletters also entitled Health News You Can Use. These pieces cover conditions such as diabetes, stroke, prostate cancer, heart disease, HIV/AIDS, and asthma to name a few. They are used as inserts in the Sunday bulletins and as circulars at our local Community Board offices, schools , local businesses and health fairs. Additionally, we have Teen Health New You Can Use issues, featuring  teen violence, teen pregnancy, STD's, obesity and nutrition to name  a few.
